We are here to offer support and opportunity
Lend a helping hand at our cookery classes, volunteer at one of our social groups, put on an event of your own…there are lots of fun, exciting and rewarding ways to get involved with supporting Zest. Please get in touch and let us know how you’d like to help make Leeds a better place for everyone.
Jamie's Ministry of Food Leeds Volunteer
Helping out in the Jamie's Ministry of Food Leeds based in Leeds Kirkgate Market. Volunteers support Jamie's Ministry of Food Leeds Cookery Trainers prepare for, deliver and clear away cooking classes aimed at helping participants develop cooking skills.
At Zest we deliver a large number of different community groups aimed at improving wellbeing and reducing social isolation. We are looking for volunteers to help support staff to deliver these groups. Tasks would include helping organise activities, meeting and greeting participants, delivering sessions.
As a charity we are always looking for people willing to help out with our community fundraising; that can include anything from running a coffee morning to helping out at one of the events we run.
We are always looking for new members with relevant skills to join our board. Board members should possess a commitment to help reduce inequalities in Leeds as well as be experienced in one of more of the key areas of work we deliver.
Your support will help to make a difference to 1,500 people
a year through our community health projects.
Whether it’s a one-off gift, you adopt us as your charity of the year or would like to run a fundraising event, any donation is welcome.
