We are a friendly bunch
Michelle joined Jamieís Ministry of Food Leeds, in December 2017 as a volunteer in order to help others as well as boost her own mental health. During her time there, she developed an interest in nutrition, public health, health and social inequalities and local community initiatives in deprived areas to support those in need.
Michelle was proud to be appointed as a Zest trustee in January 2019. She also sits on the Fundraising sub-group, providing strategic and hands-on involvement in order to help raise awareness of local inequalities and generate funds so that Zest can continue to help make Leeds a better city for everyone.
Michelle is currently a Learning and Development Consultant within Asda, having previously held HR roles within market leaders in the Construction, Health and Safety, Waste Management and Food production industries. She is keen to use her variety of experiences and enthusiasm to help make a difference and continue the great legacy of Zest.
