We are a friendly bunch
I have been working in the East area of Leeds for over 30 years, initially as a Head Teacher in a local High School and latterly as a lay minister of a local parish. I am committed to the people of the community and attempting to ensure that there is equality of opportunity and also a variety of activities in which people can engage. As the East area and its people have a number of challenges, the work in which Zest is engaged is helping to meet a number of these challenges. As a former teacher of Physical Education, I am keen to ensure that there are chances for both physical and mental health to be available. I have been on the Board for a number of years and have seen the project grow and develop to meet the needs of the community.
